Advising and registration support will be provided through our incredible academic advising team within each school, college and department. Your advisor is a great resource and will help guide you to which placement exams you will need to take.Ģ. If you were admitted under the test-optional admissions pathway and/or have not submitted ACT or SAT test scores to Wayne State for admissions purposes, you must take placement exams and assessments before you can register for English, math, biology or chemistry courses. Orientation reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis and we are unable to take your reservation once a date is full. We have a limited number of virtual orientation programs for those students who are unable to attend the in-person orientation program, so be sure to reserve your in-person orientation session soon! We are excited to welcome you to campus for your orientation session! Students and guests will complete the Campus Daily Screener on the morning of their program.

If you do not see your major listed, write to the orientation office to update your intended major with the university. Please note that orientation reservations are set based on your intended major.
